Houses shook across the Hunter this morning, when a small earthquake struck near Branxton.
Geosciences Australia says the 3.4 magnitude tremor happened at 9:23, and was felt from Newcastle to Muswellbrook.
It follows a quake of similar strength that rattled the Upper Hunter two weeks ago.
