TWO MEN CHARGED AFTER DRUGS ALLEGEDLY FOUND AT COFFS LICENSED PREMISES

Two men have been charged with drug possession, following an investigation on the Mid North Coast.

Police from the Coffs/Clarence area established Strike Force Rawhiti, to investigate drug offences at a licensed premises on Moonee Street, at Coffs Harbour.

Investigators yesterday executed a search warrant at the premises and allegedly found numerous vials of anabolic steroids; a small amount of a substance believed to be methamphetamine; a small amount of dried cannabis leaf; and a small amount of a powder substance believed to be cocaine.

A 41-year-old staff member and a 22-year-old guest at the premises will face Coffs Harbour Local Court next month, for alleged drug possession.
