SCORPIONS EDGE OUT CESSNOCK IN REAL NRL

One game so far this weekend in the Real NRL with Macquarie winning a see sawing battle against Cessnock.
Mathew Hay scored out wide to double the home side’s lead early.
The Goannas hit back through Ethan Ernst, who showed too much pace for the Scorpions’.
Cessnock was back on level terms when Terrence Seu Seu teed up Brendan Hlad.
Nathan Cantor hit back for the home side, crossing underneath the posts, before Royce Geoffry gave the Scorpions a handy buffer.
The Goannas hit back again, as Ernst grabbed his second, but Macquarie would finish in front 30-26.
