A restaurant delivery driver was assaulted and threatened with a knife while making a delivery to an Oxley Vale home in Tamworth overnight.
Police say the 26-year-old man was on Brolga Road when he was approached by another man armed with a knife.
The victim was kicked and punched, before the man stole cash and fled.
Officers would like to speak to a man described as being of Caucasian appearance and about 25 years old with a pale complexion.
He was wearing a red-hooded jumper and black tracksuit pants with a white stripe down the sides at the time.
