BOY DIES AFTER QUAD ROLLS, 2 OTHERS INJURED IN SEPERATE BIKE INCIDENTS

A child has died and two other people have been injured in a spate of quadbike accidents.

The five-year-old boy lost his life after the quad he was on rolled near Scone on Saturday.

A two-year-old boy is in a stable condition in the John Hunter Children’s Hospital after being run over by a quadbike on a property near Bendemeer yesterday afternoon.

And in a third accident in as many days, a 52-year-old man was airlifted to the John Hunter this afternoon, after he lost control of his ATV at Millfield, near Cessnock.

He’s being treated for chest injuries.
