DRIVER HANDS HIMSELF IN AFTER POLICE PURSUIT

A police pursuit through Moonbi yesterday afternoon was terminated due to dangerous speeds.
It’s alleged a 20-year-old Bendemeer man reached speeds of between 140 and 150-kilometres per hour in a bid to evade highway patrol officers.
The man later attended Tamworth police station, where he allegedly told police he had fled due to a suspended licence.
The vehicle’s registration was cancelled, and he’s been charged with a number of driving offences, including Skye’s Law.
