The way he has dealt with the adversity of being “King” hit and deafened is an inspiration to all who are blessed to call him their friend and those who might feel that such an incident might define their future life. Andy has an incredible passion for surfing and for giving back to the sport which didn’t turn it’s back on him. He is a role model to the able and disabled youth of the world … not just in surfing but life in general. Congratulations Surfing Australia on your choice … and thank you Dominique for the story. Maybe you could now write the screenplay of his life … it would make a wonderful movie..
