  1. well done but could have added or groth 73.000 now 2.5% every year and by 2030 we will have 130.000 there are 50 towns that 1 ambulance has to cover as well as ouy of area please do not let it drop keep looking to see what happens from now

  2. We are from North Rothbury near Branxton and we are totally in support of the statements made by the Health Services Union. Our 18 year old son was involved in a car accident less than 1km from home in March last year. It took more than 15 mins for an ambulance to reach the accident on Wine Country Drive as they had to come from Cessnock. Sadly this was too late for our son and he passed away at the scene. As parents we question why this life saving medical assistance could not have come from Branxton and it would have reached our son in 5 mins. We have to ask how many more tragedies need to happen on this notorious stretch of road before the authorities recognise this gross inadequacy. We have to say that we were extremely disappointed in the response from Ambulance NSW and feel it was somewhat repugnant to say that they feel the community is being provided with the best service possible. This is clearly not the case the growing community of Branxton would undoubtedly agree. Please feel free to contact us if you would like further information as we have and are still in the process of continuing contact with authorities regarding our son’s accident, we would be happy to provide any assistance in providing public awareness around these matters.
