AUSTRALIAN HOCKEY LEGEND HELPS WESTS TO A DRAW

Former Kookaburra’s captain Brent Livermore has helped Wests to a hard fought draw with Souths in Hunter Coast Premier League hockey.
Club legend Michael Woods was celebrating his 100th game, but it was Livermore who made his presence felt.
Having trailed one-nil for most of the game, Souths showed why it’s one of the competition’s best sides.
A late goal to Kyle Bosworth ensured it was honours even, but the draw saw Souths surrender top spot and left Wests still searching for their first win.
