A 45-year-old man and 33-year-old woman from Tamworth have been arrested by Strike Force Gavey detectives, who’ve been investigating the city’s drug supply during the last two months.
The pair have been charged with a number of drug-related offences, including supplying prohibited drug on an ongoing basis, and exposing a child to a prohibited drug.
“A search warrant was executed on Monday, and drugs and cash were seized. A further search occurred yesterday, and more property was recovered. A motor vehicle and motorcycle has also been seized.”
The search allegedly uncovered about 28-grams of methylamphetamine and cannabis.
Both the man and woman were refused bail.
