A man has been seriously injured in an attack by three people on the NSW north coast.
Police say two men and one woman used a metal picket to fracture and lacerate the man’s leg in a car park at about 1.15am on Tuesday at Woolgoolga Headland.
The attackers left the scene in a car before the man dragged himself back into his own car and called 000.
He was then rushed to Coffs Harbour Hospital where he had surgery on his injuries.
10 hours later, police arrested two men aged 18 and 38, and a 20-year-old woman at nearby Grafton.
They were refused bail and are expected to appear in Grafton Local Court charged with assault cause grievous bodily harm
on Wednesday.
