JAFFAS SCORE SECOND STRAIGHT WIN IN THE NBN STATE LEAGUE

NBN STATE LEAGUE
Round 6
BROADMEADOW 3 – VALENTINE 1
CHARLESTOWN CITY 4 – LAKE MACQUARIE 2
WESTON 2 – SOUTH CARDIFF 1

To the NBN State League and there were wins in round six to Broadmeadow, Charlestown City and Weston.
At Darling Street, it was second placed Hamilton taking on Lambton, but the seventh placed Jaffas took just three minutes to score through Terry Dries.
The home side almost found an instant reply but Dave Hodgson’s shot was cleared.
Hamilton’s equaliser was worth the wait, Clayton Poole perfectly teed up Harry Maguire.
Brad Swancott was doing his best to keep Olympic in it, but a dangerous cross from Michael Sessions had everyone fooled, as Lambton caused an upset.
