Kiwi solo kayaker, Scott Donaldson, has had to pull the plug on his Tasman Sea crossing again, due to a leak.
The adventurer was forced to turn around less than 24 hours after setting out from Port Macquarie, after the kayak’s battery cells were working overtime to pump water out of the cockpit.
His first attempt was thwarted a week ago when his satellite phone got wet.
