WEATHER UPDATE: WARM START TO MAY

Very warm for the 1st of May ahead of a southerly change set to cool things quickly for the 2nd day.
The change is going to move through overnight into Thursday morning arriving on the Gold Coast well before lunch.

Seas and swell will increase, strong wind warnings are current for the entire coast. There is still no rain expected inland for the NW only coastal showers will develop and totals are expected to be small.

The front will be pushed away quickly so conditions will calm down on Friday returning to the cold nights and warm days across the weekend.
