LINE-UP ANNOUNCED FOR BYRON’S SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS

Mumford and Sons, Frank Ocean and The National will headline Byron Bay’s Splendour in the Grass Festival for 2013.

The line-up of 77 acts named on Wednesday morning also includes TV on the Radio, Klaxons, James Blake, Laura Marling, Cold War Kids and Passion Pit.

The Australian charge includes Empire of the Sun, The Presets, Bernard Fanning, The Drones and Birds of Tokyo.

Aussie stalwarts You Am I will make a special appearance, playing their first two albums, Sound As Ever and Hi Fi Way.

The festival this year moves to a new site at North Byron Parklands at Yelgun and for the first time in the event’s history, the crowd will be capped at 25,000.

Tickets for the event, to be held from July 26 to July 28, go on sale from May 2nd.
