WEATHER UPDATE: CHANGE ON THE WAY
It has been a very warm start to the week with above average temperatures across the entire region.
It’s thanks to a warm northerly air flow ahead of a change that is going to move in tomorrow.
There is an associated trough with the southerly change that is going to trigger widespread showers and storms across much of the broadcast region. It will be much cooler behind the change especially for the Hunter.
Coastal showers are ready to settle back in from Wednesday.

HI there – my son was filmed surfing today at Newcastle beach and you played the footage during the weather. Is it possible for you to send the footage to me.
The first part of the footage was with two surfers in red shorts. Not this one.
The next part was of Ryan in white coloured shorts with black trimming. No wet suit.
