WEATHER UPDATE: SHOWERS CLEARING ON THE COAST

The coast is getting a short reprieve from the unrelenting shower activity which is more consistent along the northern NSW coast and SE QLD.
The NW of NSW is ready to share some of its beautiful weather with the Hunter and MNC tomorrow. That warmer drier air will help break up the showers for the Northern Rivers and Gold Coast.
The break is going to be short lived as an east coast low will form off the northern QLD coast and run south. So the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers will see a fast return of the wet weather over the weekend.
It looks like the system will move out into the Tasman largely leaving the coast alone south of Coffs Harbour but another large swell will develop causing more coastal erosion early next week.
