The bowls could be rolling as soon as November, on the greens of Club Lennox
Last November, Ramsgate RSL announced it could no longer afford to keep the club afloat, prompting a community takeover.
Fundraising has only just begun, but the club’s new board has already raised $22,000.
A number of fundraising events are in the pipeline and the board is confident it can raise the $184 000 needed to re-open the greens, by the end of the year.
