TWO STABBED IN VIOLENT WEEKEND
Two people have been stabbed in separate incidents during a violent long weekend on The Coast.
A 16 year old boy was stabbed four times at a house party in Currumbin Waters, early yesterday morning.
It’s believed he was involved in a brawl at Mollys Place when he was allegedly attacked with a steak knife.
Police arrested a 21 year old man at the scene.
Minutes later, five men stormed into a home on Martin Street in Nerang.
They assaulted and stabbed the 21 year old occupant, before stealing electrical goods.
The man underwent surgery yesterday for a wound on his hip, as well as cuts to his right arm and chest.
Police are still looking for the group involved.
