If you’re a car-racing fan, you may have woken to news of plans by Stapylton-based Dick Johnson Racing, to bring V8 Supercars ‘back to the future’.
In a shock for Ford-lovers, the legendary team announced a fifth manufacturer would line-up on the grid next season.
The car would revolutionise the sport, with it’s space-age modifications, such as the “Flux Capacitor”.
The dead give-away for any child of the 80s came when the team revealed it’s new co-driver.
“Mr McFly, like to get an international star in a car I had to have this vehicle otherwise we couldn’t have had him as a co-driver.”
Sadly though, the only way racing fans will see a speeding Delorean is via their local video store.
