Upper Hunter Shire Council has taken the reins at Scone’s dilapidated Old Court Theatre.
Previously, the Scone Community Dramatic Amateur Society has struggled to maintain the heritage-listed theatre.
Council will now develop a management committee to apply for funding and oversee the refurbishment of the building.
