WILDCATS SIGN FOUR NEW PLAYERS
Taree Wildcats coach Josh Ferris say he’s excited by the signing of Newcastle’s Jordan Howard, who’ll replace star mid-fielder Callum Lewis this season.
Ferris believes the new recruit will bring speed and experience to the team, following his time playing with Weston in the NBN Premier League.
He’s one of four new signings for the reigning premiers.
Former Old Bar player Pete Gross has signed on as goal keeper, while Luke Jones and Paxton Kelly have transferred from Wingham.
The team is utilising the Northern New South Wales Solo Cup knockout as practice for the upcoming season, with its next game set to be played at home on the 16th of March.
