BLEACH FESTIVAL UNDERWAY

With cabin fever rampant on the Coast, organisers of ‘Bleach Festival’ are confident the event will still draw crowds.

This year’s theme is one of surfing folklore – in 2002, it’s said a local surfer rode a single continuous wave from Snapper Rocks to North Kirra.

“We’ve taken that story and used it in coastal walks, historical photographs, exhibitions and contemporary installations.”I’m sure people are sick of sitting at home so come out and enjoy.”

Events will be held between Currumbin and Coolangatta until March three.
