The Ballina Lighthouse and Lismore Surf Life Saving Club has been recognised for its efforts in promoting surf safety.
Surf Life Saving New South Wales has awarded the club a bronze level status for its work on the issue.
It comes just months after the organisation was named the 2012 Club of the year at both a state and national level.
