GAV GROUNDED IN KILIMANJARO BID

NBN’s intrepid weatherman, Gavin Morris, is safely back on terra firma after his bid to paraglide from Mt Kilimanjaro in Africa.

Gav and around 100 other charity flyers trekked to the summit of Kilimanjaro but were hit by some of the worst weather there in a decade, making it too dangerous to take off.

Risking altitude sickness and exposure, Gav and a few others stayed put and held out as long as they could, but were eventually forced back to basecamp.
