TRAFFIC CLOSURES IN SINGLETON

The SES has warned the Hunter River at Singleton is predicted to peak at about lunchtime at 10.7 metres at Dunolly Bridge.

Singleton Council has advised Bridgman Road is closed to through traffic and will remain closed for the next few hours. A detour through White Avenue is in place.

The right turn into Bridgman Rd from the New England Highway has been blocked at the intersection. The traffic lights are operating with no right turn into Bridgman Rd.

Paynes Crossing on Wollombi Rd and Moses Crossing on Lemington Rd remain closed.

The Golden Highway at Mudies Creek is now open.

Various causeways along Goorangoola Rd and Bowmans Creek Rd are open but caution should be used.

Water is over Cook Park Field No1 and No2.

Bourkes Crossing bridge construction site is currently above water but may go underwater this afternoon and bridge construction activities have been cancelled for the day.
