HUNTER RESIDENTS RALLY TO HELP COONABARABRAN RESIDENTS

As dozens of families become homeless in the wake of the Coonabarabran bushfires, Hunter residents are rallying to help.

Using social media, community-minded individuals are collecting donations, loading up trucks and heading out west.

  1. Hi. It was great to do the story on what local residents are doing.g for people effected by fire. It would have been even better to provide clear details on how to contact people to broaden the network of support.

  2. Agree with Annalise. I have been trying since I saw this go to air about where to drop off in the Hunter and about the lady named Melissa Coad ( if I got the name correct).
    I have a connection with Coonabarabran and want desperately want to donate items to help.
