BYRON BAY LEADING COUNTRY CHAMPS

Reigning champions, Byron Bay, are now on top of the leader board, following day two of the State Surf Lifesaving Country Championships at South West Rocks.

Far north coast club Cudgen Headland is in second, while Coffs Harbour is in third.

The Championship is one of the biggest surf lifesaving events in New South Wales, attracting around 5,000 competitors, officials and spectators.

Competition wraps up tomorrow.
