A 41-year-old man is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit in the head with the boom of his yacht.
Paramedics were called to the Port Macquarie Marina at around a quarter to six last night and transferred the man to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with severe lacerations to his head.
