There was a close call for a man and his young daughter in Coffs Harbour this afternoon after their four wheel drive burst into flames on the Pacific Highway.
The man managed to pull off the busy road and stop in Park Avenue where bystanders tried to put the blaze out with an extinguisher.
Firefighters arrived a short time later to finish the job
