WEATHER UPDATE: HEATWAVE TO ROLL ON

A southerly change is ready to move in arriving in the Central Coast early Wednesday morning thanks to a pre frontal trough.

Ahead of it conditions are going to be very tough with hot, dry, NW winds producing more dangerous bushfire conditions for northern NSW and SE QLD.

The relief is going to be virtually unnoticed across the inland areas of the NW and short lived on the coast. The NW winds will return on Friday and the mercury will re-climb on Saturday producing more low 40 degree temperatures for the Central Coast and Hunter before spreading further north once again.
