SINGLETON BLACK SPOT UPGRADE

A section of road in Singleton has received blackspot safety funding after a young boy died tragically in a crash there earlier this year.
Close to $30,000 will be used to install speed bumps, signs and lines around Church and Kelso streets.
That’s where a school bus and truck collided in September, killing nine-year-old Harry Dunn.
Council will carry out the works, designed to slow traffic and clearly identify intersections.
