COOMERA MEMORIAL MOVED

The Main Roads Department has rubbed more salt, into the wounds of mourners, at the site of a five person fatality beside the Motorway at Coomera.

Workers have shifted crosses, flowers and personal items 30 metres from the crash scene, to the eastern side of the service road.

Friends claim, without permission from the victims’ families.

“All it would have taken was a phone call to all the grieving parents.”

“Especially with kody being new zealand their culture is once they lay down the cross no one is to touch it.”

“They threw the crosses on the ground and we had to dig through rock to put them back in.”

A barbeque wake will be held at Underwood Park at Rochedale on Sunday, to raise money for one-year-old Annabelle Maggs, whose parents Natasha and Alan were killed in the crash.
