The Jetty Action Group has withdrawn from the reference group overseeing discussions on the Foreshore Concept Plan in Coffs Harbour.
Spokesman Ashley Love says his group is concerned council wants 10 million dollars in ratepayers money used to landscape the surrounds of a proposed five star tourist resort.
He says the original concept involved landscaping and vegetation management for the whole of the foreshore not just around a future development.
The Action Group will not attend any more meetings until the council drops its push for a resort.
