TRUCK DRIVER TRAPPED IN ACCIDENT

A truck driver was trapped for more than two and a half hours this morning when his milk tanker rolled down a 20-metre embankment south of Singleton.

Shortly before five o’clock the man, aged in his 40s, was travelling on Putty Road, 80-kilometres from Singleton when his semi-trailer ran through a guard rail.

The road was closed for several hours and the man was was flown to John Hunter Hospital with leg, shoulder and chest injuries.

  1. they should fix putty road and also fix the roads around that area as well and put a steel barrair up as well so that there are no more accidents there no more at all
