The driver of a milk tanker has been freed, several hours after his truck crashed through a guard rail and down an embankment, near Putty, north of Windsor.
The crash happened at 4.50am, 95km north of Windsor.
The driver has been flown to hospital by the Careflight Rescue chopper.
A recovery operation for the tanker and its load is underway, with further traffic disruptions expected.
