The future of Nathan Tinkler’s multi-million dollar thoroughbred stud farm is tonight under a cloud.
The Federal Court in Adelaide has ordered Patinack Farm Administration be ‘wound-up’ after WorkCover was successful in a claim for $17,000 in unpaid levies.
The liquidator is investigating whether Hunter Valley employees will be affected.
The extent of what’s uncovered, will determine whether there’s any threat to Mr Tinkler’s land and horses.
TINKLER GROUP STATEMENT
Following media reports Patinack Farm Administration has been placed in liquidation over a $17,000 debt owed to WorkCover South Australia, a spokesperson for the Tinkler Group issued the following statement:
There was an administrative error in the WorkCover matter by an associate company of Patinack Farm and the outstanding monies, as well as costs, have been paid.
There will be no further comment.
