A Hunter case worker charged with four counts of aggravated sexual assault of a nine-year-old girl, has been refused bail.
The 54-year-old was arrested yesterday and has been stood down from his job with the Department of Family and Community Services.
He will front Newcastle court Monday.

This is one of those case that needs to be fully investigate. The allegation that have been made are identical to past allegation’s that this child has made, but just change the name of the alleged person. If the right people are investigating this case & checking doc’s files they will see that allegation are the same as past allegation. Sad for the child to have the ability to do this. Sad for the family & friends of the accused.
its a sad world we live in where the media can report these types of stories with out all the facts its even sader when the source leaking these stories are the police themselves trying to drum up a guilty conviction to get themselves pats on the back,especially in light of the catholic church commission enquiries we are lead to believe that this has been an investigation by the crime squad and they hailed a victory in successfully catching him well here are the real facts i made the notifacation on monday it was made out of necessasity owing to legislation that if you are a mandatory reporter through occupation and you hear something you must report the matter WHETHER OR NOT YOU BELIEVE IT .. i didnt believe it then and i dont now this little girl as previously stated in another post is an habitual story teller she has made many alledged claims before none that have ever been substained in this situation there has been an absolute reporting of the same story but with a name change i know this as i also made the first notification
