A six-year-old girl has been flown to John Hunter Hospital after being attacked by a dog in Tamworth.
Just after 3pm yesterday, the girl was in the backyard of a family member’s home in Garden Street when she was mauled by the crossbreed.
She’s being treated for extensive injuries to both legs.
The dog will be put down tomorrow.
