WEATHER UPDATE: RAIN EVENT ON TRACK

The huge cloud band stretching across central Australia continues to deliver the goods. Totals are widespread and solid.

The moisture stream is set to continue with showers and storms begining to affect the southern areas of the broadcast region today. That activity will increase tomorrow. It willstill be warm to hot as teh high cloud builds.

The best of the rain will pass over the region on Thursday and Friday contracting to the NE across SE QLD on Saturday.
This will be the best rain in four months for much of the region.
