NO RAIN LEAVES WATER TANKS WANTING
Richmond Valley Council has come to the rescue of rural residents, whose tanks are empty after the recent dry spell.
With the wait for refills currently around five weeks thanks to the high demand, the town’s water supply is filling the gap.
For a small fee, residents in need can fill up their tanks from a downpipe at the Casino-Nammoona Landfill.
“We have an abundant supply of water in the town’s water supply so as long as people need it they can get it.”
