WEATHER UPDATE: HEAT ABOUT TO SWITCH BACK ON

Widespread showers with a few small storms developed across the North West with a cluster making its way across the Divide affecting Dorrigo, Grafton and Coffs. Scattered showers fell elsewhere.

This system is going to clear, making way for a couple of hot, mostly sunny days before the next southerly comes through on Friday.
As a front and associated low approach the South East corner of the country the North West influence will build flushing out more hot air from the interior pushing it across the region.

The southerly on Friday is going to be quite gusty producing a burst of showers with storms possible. Scattered showers are expected to hang around for the weekend.
