BIRD STILL FLYING HIGH AFTER GREAT YEAR WITH THE SYDNEY SWANS

2012 can’t get much better for Nelson Bay’s Craig Bird.
Just a month after winning his first AFL Premiership with the Sydney Swans, the 23- year-old today signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
The former New South Wales Ram played every game this season, in the process becoming one of the team’s most consistent performers.
Following some injury interrupted seasons, club management says it’s happy to offer Bird the chance to add to his career tally of 87 games with the Swans.
