50 YEARS OF NBN; CHARLES AND DIANA VISIT – 1983

It’s time to open the vault as we look back on 50 years of NBN television.

And with Prince Charles visiting Australia, we thought we’d take you back to 1983, when Charles and Diana visited Newcastle.

It’s a day that the school children of the Hunter will never forget and NBN broadcast the spectacle live.

  2. Question. ..if the aboriginals got a boat and went to England to live and claim land lik cook and his party did here in austraila what reception would they get? And would they say that there not civilized in living ? Why did white people force there will and impose themselves ? And how can we say this is our land…do we just impose ourselves on people? And how they live?. Oh im white but am ashamed of Australia well the line in which I come from.

  3. Last but not least..life as a blue collar worker.
    We all have to work full merit to that..we need to look at case by case situations into affairs of individuals dealing with government establishments….not be treated as a whole people present with different circumstances we all have different dna…well lets be treated as individuals not as a whole. ..we are all different and different types of events happen to us all when will this country listen to the little guy…its time to start listening to the individuals needs government. ..and could the prime minister live on $200, 000 I believe so then why half a millionc come on government wake up.
