Residents were forced to evacuate last night, after a fierce blaze tore through a South Lismore home.
The fire broke out at around midnight, engulfing the Newbridge Street property, before spreading to a car yard next door.
No one was injured, but the house and several cars were destroyed.
Police are treating the blaze as suspicious.
