WEATHER UPDATE – THE HOT DRY SPRING CONTINUES

The Hunter and Mid North Coast cooled today as a southerly change moved north during the day but no rain was produced, in fact hardly any cloud was able to develop.

The southerly will continue north overnight and enough moisture will build up on the eastern side of the Divide to produce some cloud for Thursday with a few patchy showers to fall.
Over the Northern Ranges, Tablelands and SE QLD afternoon storms are likely.
Into Friday and across the weekend conditions are going to be hot and dry for most of the broadcast region. During Sunday late showers with storms will develop as a system begins to form into an east coast low, more on that later in the week. Until then enjoy the predominantly warm dry run. Good news on the beach front, water temperatures are beginning to warm, Newcastle is at 18, SE QLD around 21 degrees.
