Great Lakes Council hopes a new supermarket development at Tuncurry will help revitalise the town’s CBD.
Woolworths officially opened its new store on the corner of Peel and Kent Streets today, drawing hundreds of shoppers through the door.
Council has leased the premises to the supermarket giant for 20 years.
