Former South Sydney and New Zealand Test player David Fa’alogo will pull on the red and blue in the 2013 NRL season.
The Newcastle Knights confirmed today that Fa’alogo signed a one-year contract with club.
Fa’alogo played with the Rabbitohs for nine seasons before spending the last three years in England playing for the Huddersfield Giants.
Coach Wayne Bennett says there will be an option for a second year if he plays well next season.
“He is coming here for the right reasons; he isn’t coming here for the money but he feels he owes a lot to rugby league and wanted to come and finish his career in Australia playing good footy.” said Bennett.
