A MAN DEAD AFTER A SERIES OF CRASHES ON THE PACIFIC HIGHWAY

A man is dead and a woman seriously injured after a series of road accidents on the Pacific Highway near Karuah, north of Newcastle.

The male victim survived a car crash, only to be struck by a passing vehicle while trying to save his pet dog.
