A man has been killed south west of Casino this morning after his car crashed into a tree on Wyan Road.
The incident occurred around 8 o’clock – no-one else was inside the vehicle.
Police, ambulance and fire officers attended for several hours – the driver died at the scene.
Traffic through the area was carefully monitored while investigations and clean-up work took place.
Police are investigating the cause.
